After a successful initial launch on Moonbeam, Polkadot, our NFT Marketplace Raresama is now live on Exosama Network. Exosama Network is a community-owned Layer 1 EVM blockchain governed via NFTs, hosting Moonsama’s family of games and applications.

In this new and exciting phase, governance functionality is live and the community decides what art will be auctioned on Raresama through governance voting. The platform will be fully community curated.

Member tiers

Raresama has three member ranks. As soon as you connect your wallet, you can place bids and scoop up amazing art.

The real fun begins once you upgrade your account to member status. You will be able to deck out your profile with a cover banner and profile picture (supporting not only images but also .gif).

The big perk: you can put forward a proposal to mint your NFT, which will be part of the Raresama Community Collection.

Finally, as a member you can participate in governance, voting on NFTs and collections put forward by other members. You decide what art will be on display on Raresama.

Verified membership

Are you an established artist and ready to prove it? Then put your profile up for governance and try to get verified by community voting.

This will unlock collection proposals and — once approved by the community — the option to mint into them freely.

How to vote

Once you are a member you can participate in governance. You can find the active proposals by selecting the newly added Governance option in the Raresama navigation. You can vote on single NFTs, collections and profile verification.

You can vote using $SAMA. The voting system is straightforward; you vote using your $SAMA balance. Once the proposal ends, the majority result counts. Your tokens don’t get burned or locked, you can vote on as many proposals as you like. Voting can be done anonymous and you have the option to elaborate on your vote by placing a comment. Your vote can be changed at any time during the proposal.

Snapshot based

Proposals are snapshots based. Your voting power is based on the amount of $SAMA in your wallet at the time a proposal is created. Sending around $SAMA or changing your balance will not impact your voting power.

Once your profile has been approved you have the ability to create a collection and put it forward for governance.

Once your artwork is approved it will be minted into the Community collection and you can set-up a showdown auction, meaning every time a bid gets placed in the last five minutes of the auction, four minutes get added to the rundown timer.

Once your collection is approved it is created and you can mint into it without governance. It doesn’t matter when or how many NFTs you mint, you can keep adding to the collection over time. Individual NFTs within the collection can also be put up for showdown auction.

Get creative when creating proposals

For better results, try to be specific in your proposal and add in any examples of art that will be minted. Proposals support markdown text so you can really impress your voters with what you are bringing to the platform!

How to get $SAMA

$SAMA could be earned by participating in Moonsama’s Play-to-Craft economy. If you missed out or want to increase your voting power, SAMA can be obtained via different channels, amongst which exchanges Khaos Exchange and MEXC.

Who turned the lights off

We are throwing in an extra treat with this release of Raresama: the highly requested darkmode feature. Now you can enjoy your favorite marketplace at any time of day.

Raresama Originals & Gromlins

The Raresama Originals collection will be migrated over from Moonbeam to Exosama Network within the next few weeks. Holders will be able to migrate their pieces by logging in via the Moonsama Multiverse Portal. Gromlins will remain on Moonbeam and can still be traded using the GLMR token. This decision was made to support Moonsama’s multichain vision.
