Moonsama’s Crowdloan Rewards Are Out!

Back in April 2023, Moonsama raised over 130,000 DOT and won the 42nd parachain slot on Polkadot. Following this, Moonsama has now successfully enabled the distribution of its crowdloan rewards.

The rewards will be distributed linearly throughout the parachain lease period, starting from its TGE date, which occurred on November 30th, 2023. Keep in mind that the rewards are distributed on our standalone EVM-blockchain, Exosama Network, instead of on our parachain.

1.5% (15,000,000 SAMA) of the total SAMA supply is allocated for crowdloan rewards. A total of 133,995 DOT was raised, so each DOT equals to approximately 111,9 SAMA. 20% of all crowdloan rewards have been unlocked on TGE (November 30th, 2023), with the remaining 80% being linearly unlocked over the course of the parachain lease period.

Claim Your Crowdloan Rewards

Head to the Crowdloan Rewards page.
Connect your Polkadot.js wallet.

If you used a different wallet, export your recovery phrase and import it within Polkadot.js. See a guide for importing it on Polkadot.js here. To see how to access your recovery phrase on Nova Wallet, see the guide here, for Talisman here and for Subwallet here.

3. Connect your EVM-based wallet, such as MetaMask.

4. You will be asked to connect to Moonsama Network.

5. View and claim your rewards.

6. Sign a transaction on Polkadot.js to confirm your EVM-wallet.

7. After signing the transaction on Polkadot.js, sign a transaction to claim your rewards.

8. That’s it! You will receive your SAMA tokens on Exosama Network shortly. Please note that crowdloan rewards are distributed once a day throughout this week (Week 4, 2024) and then once a week every Monday.
