Or that maddening moment when we dared to look away from the auction we have been glued to -all day- and someone outbids us. In the ever-changing world of NFTs, it is more important than ever to know what is happening at the -moment- it happens.

Raresama, the flagship NFT marketplace of Moonsama’s ecosystem is unleashing its Social Features update that will make all those moments a thing of the past. This update is full of features that will make every second count and also improve the user experience for both artists and collectors.

The notification system

Part of the update is the new notification system. Users can opt-in to receive notifications about new collections, approved sell offers, and yes, even when auction bids are being placed on the collection you are following. Users can even set up alerts for when they receive new likes and new followers.

The Social Feature update also brings more connectivity for users and more information at a quick glance. Profile Hover Cards allow you to get more information about the artist and collection directly from the page. Profile pages allow users to follow one another, see their followers and who they are following. As well as their collections, NFTs and the collections they are following.

As an artist, we thrive on feedback wanting to know if someone likes our work as soon as we post it. As a collector? We want to brag about our newly acquired NFT( and let’s be honest, hype up that FOMO). With the new like and share feature, you can do both. Liking and sharing the collection directly from the page to your Twitter feed.

New proposal system

Raresama has also streamlined its proposal process for new collections. Artists can now fine-tune their submissions with a new editing interface. Not only can they make their proposals look as amazing as their collections, but they can also add examples of their artwork so the community knows exactly what they are voting for. Not that we don’t like surprises… but we do like to know what we are voting for and examples help!

Moonsama Network and what’s coming next

Speaking of voting. Along with this update, Raresama is thrilled to announce that the integration of the Moonsama Network is coming soon! Artists and collectors do not need to do anything other than be ready for the governance vote regarding the migration of assets from the Exosama Network to the Moonsama Network. This is expected to happen a few weeks after the launch of the Moonsama Network.

Raresama is as ever-evolving as the NFT and Web3 space. The next update is going to be a game-changer for artists and communities. Soon after the launch of the Moonsama Network, Raresama will support ERC-1155 tokens as well as the already supported ERC-721 Tokens.

What does that mean?

Artists and communities can continue to leverage ERC-721 tokens to represent unique and indivisible assets, i.e., one-of-a-kind, unique NFTs. It also means that artists and communities can use ERC-1155 tokens to enable multiple instances of an asset within a single contract with use cases such as limited editions and collectible items. This means greater flexibility and vast possibilities for creators and collectors alike. Something to be excited about.
